One of the most picturesque padel tennis courts in the city has opened

All equipment will be provided should you forget your racket and ball.

Padel Tennis is fast becoming one of the most popular sports to be playing in Abu Dhabi and if you head down to the Beach Rotana today, you will have the opportunity to have a game on its newly opened, state-of-the-art padel tennis court.

Located at the Beach Club, overlooking the waterfront and offering up views to Al Maryah Island, the sunlit, 20 x 10 metre, blue court sits atop of the hotel gym’s roof, housed in a blue cage.

But should you not get to court before sundown, don’t throw away your padel racket in disappointment as thanks to LED spotlight illumination, you can light up the night with your skills on the court.

And should you even forget your racket or balls, the Beach Rotana team can provide you with all the necessary equipment for an evening a top fun.

Not quite squash and not quite tennis, padel tennis is played on a court that is 25 per cent smaller than a regular tennis court.

Padel tennis has the same points scoring system as its world-famous sporting counterpart but produces longer rallies due to a less pressurised ball.
