The Dubai exhibition pays tribute to Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan’s pivotal role in uniting the emirates

A new exhibition celebrating the very best of UAE culture and heritage was inaugurated at Etihad Museum recently and runs from 18 February to 5 December 2024.

In collaboration with Dubai Culture, the exhibition pays tribute to Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan’s pivotal role in uniting the emirates. It showcases the UAE’s rich history and culture through Zayed National Museum’s collections, commemorating Sheikh Zayed’s enduring legacy.

The joint initiative by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, Zayed National Museum, and Dubai Culture is a pivotal endeavor to honour Sheikh Zayed’s lasting legacy and the UAE’s diverse history and vibrant culture. This collaboration represents a significant milestone in celebrating the nation’s heritage.

The exhibition’s national significance is important as an educational resource, preserving cultural heritage and highlighting key historical moments. Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, praised Sheikh Zayed’s inspiring legacy in shaping the national identity.

The immersive exhibition features artifacts, films, and images depicting Sheikh Zayed’s life, offering a glimpse into his visionary leadership and the nation’s journey towards unity and prosperity. The exhibition, part of a series touring the UAE, serves as a bridge between the vibrant past and evolving present, fostering a sense of national identity.
