The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2024 released their extended list and featured one massively popular Dubai restaurant

As we wait for the World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2024 ceremony in Las Vegas on 5 June, the extended list is finally here!

50 Best revealed the restaurants ranked from 51st to 100th this year, and there are some surprising changes and just one Dubai restaurant representing the UAE.

Orfali Bros – currently ranking on the top spot in the MENA’s 50 Best Restaurants list has made an appearance on the global list at No. 64!

Led by Syrian brothers Mohamad, Wassim and Omar, the restaurant in Jumeirah 1 is known for its aesthetic and flavourful take on traditional food, creating fusion dishes such as foie gras with quince vinegar and hazelnut miso; umami eclair with porcini emulsion, marmite, cacao nibs and beef prosciutto; and adobo chicken wings – one of their bestsellers!

While the restaurant has fallen from 46 to 64, one hopes that the main list reveal will feature more eateries from across the UAE.

Spread across 23 destinations, the extended list features some of the most esteemed dining spots in the world, with exciting new entries from Australia, Colombia, India and beyond.
