The evening will feature a nine-course Omakase menu paired with a thoughtfully curated mixed drinks experience, bringing together the creative minds behind both venues.

From Singapore, award-winning mixologist Bannie Kang and celebrated chef Tryson Quek, co-founders of Side Door and recent entrants to Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2025 (#53), will join forces with HANU’s own Chef Kyung Soo Moon and Bar Manager Melanie Tuy to present an unforgettable culinary dialogue between Korean heritage and modern Asian innovation.

Each course tells a story: highlights from Side Door include their signature Beef Tartare, Ugly Duckling, Wagyu Short Ribs, and Sweet Potato Petit Four, while HANU presents refined Korean creations like the Gujeolpan (Platter of Nine Delicacies), Kimchi Tart, Truffle Kimbap, Chilean Seabass, and the elegant Jang Trio & Omija Dessert.

Three custom-crafted mixed drinks from HANU will accompany the Omakase journey, tailored to complement the evening’s evolving flavours.

Guests will also enjoy a special mixed drinks insert menu featuring six unique serves, three from HANU and three from Side Door, available at AED 65 each.

Standouts include Side Door’s Seaside, a tropical-herbal blend, and One for the Road, a bittersweet espresso-forward creation.

From HANU, expect the delicate My Cup of Tea and the complex, luxurious Old but Gold, crafted with aged rum and fruit.

“This collaboration is more than just two kitchens and bars coming together,” says Chef Kyung Soo Moon. “It’s about crafting a shared journey, each dish and drink building upon the last to create a story of harmony and contrast.”

“We’re excited to bring a taste of Side Door to Dubai,” adds Bannie Kang. “This evening has been designed to surprise, delight, and deeply connect with our guests, from the first pour to the final bite.”
