A new salt cave spa has opened in Al Ain and it looks amazing

Some 16 tonnes of natural salt cover the entire venue.

If you are feeling a little under the weather then a trip to the Salt Cave in Al Ain could be the answer to what ails you.

The largest and only man-made salt cave in the Middle East, Salt Cave offers patients a natural treatment for nearly 18 conditions including psoriasis, arthritis, sinusitis, asthma and eczema, as well as anxiety, snoring, allergies, colds, flu, congestion, ear infections, hay fever and rhinitis.

It also is said to improve the breathing of ex-smokers and those suffering from cystic fibrosis.

Accommodating up to 35 people at a time, the venue sees 16 tonnes of natural salt covering the ceiling, floors and walls over an area of 171-square metres.

Featuring a play area for children, comfortable leather seats and ventilation system, visitors can experience one session per day with a minimum of six treatments needed over six consecutive days to ensure measurable results.
