The Abu Dhabi Express bus service launches and here is where you can travel

The non-stop Abu Dhabi Express (AD Express) bus service will be operating seven-days-a-week.

Getting around Abu Dhabi and its suburbs is going to be a lot easier as a new express bus service has been introduced.

Taking commuters from all around the emirate directly to the capital, the non-stop service will start running from Mussaffah industrial area and Mohamed bin Zayed City.

Operating from today (14 March), the non-stop Abu Dhabi Express service run by Al Ghazal Transport Company and Emirates Taxi will see 64 buses take to the roads offering 680 trips each week.

The bus service will use Abu Dhabi bus station as an arrival point and will also service Khalifa City, Bani Yas, Al Shahama, Al Falah and Al Ain.

Announced by the Integrated Transport Centre of the Department of Municipalities and Transport, the buses will include the E-01 service E-01 from the Industrial City of Abu Dhabi in Mussaffah and service E-02, direct from Mussaffah, while service E-03 will operate from Mussaffah Town Bus Terminal and service E-04 departs from Safeer Mall in Khalifa City.

Running from 5am to 10pm on weekdays and 5am to 1am on weekends and public holidays, the service is expected to grow to other areas of the emirate as passenger demand increases.

It will operate between destinations every ten minutes during peak hours and 25 minutes outside peak hours.
