Dubai Opera has lifted the curtain on its highly anticipated 2025–2026 Season, promising an extraordinary line-up of world-class performances that span opera, ballet, musicals, concerts, Arabic music, theatre, and more.
Now entering its ninth season, the iconic venue is set to host over 50 international productions and more than 150 performances, uniting over 1,000 artists from around the globe on its stage.

Launching in September 2025, the new season opens with a breathtaking trilogy that sets the tone for the year ahead: Giacomo Puccini’s timeless opera La Bohème, Ludwig van Beethoven’s powerful Fifth Symphony alongside the majestic Emperor”Piano Concerto, and Tchaikovsky’s legendary ballet Swan Lake.
This grand opening embodies Dubai Opera’s ambition to showcase artistic excellence and deliver unforgettable cultural experiences to audiences across the region.
The season’s classical music roster features some of the world’s most renowned talents and orchestras. Piano virtuoso Yuja Wang will make her long-awaited Middle East debut, while the Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra and the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia are both set to perform on the Dubai Opera stage for the very first time.

Opera enthusiasts can look forward to the return of global legends Plácido Domingo and José Carreras, alongside the first fully staged regional performance of Handel’s baroque masterpiece Tamerlano.
Dance lovers are also in for a treat, as international ballet icon Roberto Bolle is set to make his Dubai Opera debut.
His appearance underscores the venue’s continued commitment to presenting the very best of global ballet and dance.
Musical theatre will play a starring role this season, highlighted by the UAE premiere of the global phenomenon Wicked The Musical, co-presented by Dubai Opera and Broadway Entertainment.

Audiences can also look forward to international blockbusters Grease and Rumi: The Musical, adding to the rich and varied programme that defines this season.
The concert line-up brings together an eclectic mix of international stars, with performances by Kings of Convenience, Grammy-winner Jon Batiste, and Balkan music legend Goran Bregović.
Regional music takes centre stage as well, with a stellar Arabic music series featuring icons such as Najwa Karam, Zade Dirani, Elissa, Marilyne Naaman, The Yemenis Orchestra, Omar Khairat, and Khalid Abdulrahman.
Adding further depth to the season, Dubai Opera will present the regional debut of War and Peace, alongside the 2025 edition of the Dubai Comedy Festival, ensuring there is something for every taste and age group.
With its ninth season, Dubai Opera continues to cement its reputation as the UAE’s premier performing arts destination and a beacon of culture in the region.
