Dubai is gearing up for another exciting summer as Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) returns from 2 July to 30 August.

This exciting programme is bringing two months of non-stop entertainment, shopping, dining, and family fun across the city.

Built around the spirit of ‘Make it a Dubai Summer’, DSS transforms Dubai into the ultimate summer playground, with something new happening every week for residents and visitors alike.

From unbeatable retail offers to immersive experiences, the city is set to stay vibrant all season long.

One of the biggest highlights is the Great Dubai Summer Sale, featuring discounts of up to 90%, exclusive brand offers, and flash deals across leading retail destinations.

Families can also look forward to Back to School, which brings savings on essentials, fashion, electronics, and tech, making seasonal shopping both easy and rewarding.

This year also introduces the first-ever Back-to-School Carnival (7–8 August), a new mall takeover that turns shopping into a full family experience with entertainment and activities for children.

Adding to the excitement, DSS will run alongside Win Your Home in Dubai, a citywide shop-and-win campaign offering incredible prizes including studio and two-bedroom apartments.

Entertainment takes centre stage with Beat the Heat DXB, featuring live concerts and shows across the city, including the Miami Musical Show on 28 August at Coca-Cola Arena.

Selected malls will also host the new DSS Performing Arts Fest, bringing roaming performances and interactive entertainment to shoppers.

family dining together

Families can enjoy the ever-popular Modesh World at DWTC, while food lovers will have plenty to explore with Summer Restaurant Week (13 July – 2 August) followed by the 10 Dirham Dish (3–30 August), offering unbeatable dining deals across the city.

For those looking to stay active, Summer Mallathons will return with fun indoor walking and fitness experiences throughout the summer.
