Dubai to Abu Dhabi International Airport: Free bus for Wizz Air Abu Dhabi passengers

The bus starts at Ibn Battuta Bus Station.

If you are flying with Wizz Air Abu Dhabi and are living in Dubai we have some great news; you can travel to Abu Dhabi International Airport for free.

Yes, Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is teaming up with Capital Express for Rapid Intercity to transport passengers between the city and the capital’s airport.

The Express Bus route will start off at Ibn Battuta Bus Station and ferry passengers to Abu Dhabi International Airport with no stops in between.

Currently the service is only dedicated to passengers flying on Wizz Air Abu Abu Dhabi.

Speaking on the announcement CEO of Public Transport Agency, RTA, said; “Through the agreement, Abu Dhabi International Airport will be connected with Dubai’s Ibn Battuta Bus Station, RTA and Capital Express For Rapid Intercity [and] will cooperate to lift passengers between the two emirates, and Capital Express will provide buses to transport passengers between Dubai’s Ibn Battuta Station and Abu Dhabi International Airport.”

It’s latest big news for Wizz Air Abu Dhabi who announced last month that it will begin operating services between Abu Dhabi and the Maldives in October.
