We know that the stormy weather conditions have wrecked havoc and caused consternation over the last number of days, not least to the education industry who announced remote learning for the rest of the week.

And for all those out there whose cars were damaged by the volatile weather, you can now apply for a verification letter online if your vehicle breaks down due to adverse conditions.

Emirates Airline has announced the lifting of the check-in suspension for its flights following a period of disruption caused by adverse weather conditions and road congestion.

The UAE carrier emphasised the importance of confirmed bookings for passengers intending to travel, as airport congestion persists.

The airline cautioned travellers about potential delays in both arrivals and departures from Dubai International Airport (DXB) and encouraged passengers to stay informed by checking the latest flight schedules on the Emirates website.

Initially, Emirates had suspended check-in services until midnight on Wednesday, a measure that was subsequently extended until 9 am on Thursday. This decision came amid challenges posed by inclement weather and congested roadways.

Expressing regret for any inconvenience caused, Emirates extended its apologies to affected customers who experienced delays and disruptions to their travel plans.

The airline assured customers that its teams are diligently working to restore scheduled operations while also arranging accommodation and other essential amenities for impacted travellers at the airport.

As Emirates endeavors to navigate through these challenges, passengers are advised to stay updated on any developments through official channels and to exercise patience during this period of transition.

Emirates Airline remains committed to ensuring the safety and comfort of its passengers while striving to deliver a seamless travel experience.
