As luck has it, a new bus service linking Sharjah and Muscat has commenced operations, providing a convenient and affordable travel option for passengers between the two cities.

The new service, operated by Oman National Transport Company – Mwasalat in partnership with Sharjah’s Roads and Transport Authority, connects Sharjah’s Al Jubail Station with Muscat’s Al Azaiba Bus Station via the Khatmat Malaha border post.

This route offers travelers a direct and efficient means of crossing the border between the UAE and Oman.

 

With four daily trips available, passengers have ample flexibility in planning their journeys.

Two buses depart from each city at 6.30 am and 4pm, ensuring convenient options for both morning and afternoon travel.

For passengers looking to make a single journey, the fare is set at AED 100, while those opting for a two-way journey will pay AED 190.

These competitive prices make the bus service an attractive choice for travelers seeking an affordable and hassle-free means of transportation between Sharjah and Muscat.
