Our students do have a long track record of excelling academically and this year our GCSE results surpassed all previous records with an impressive 93.9% of students achieving grades 9-7.

Dubai International School was founded in 1985. The school is located in the heart of Dubai with one branch situated in the Al Garhoud area and another in the Al Quoz area. The chosen locations of the branches make it suitable to serve the most populated areas in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.

The school follows the American Curriculum (California CCSS and NGSS) in English, Math, Sciences, Social Sciences, Commercial Sciences, Physical Education, Art, and Music. Arabic, Islamic Education and Social Studies follow the Ministry of Education curriculum.

The school’s programs are designed to meet the vision and mission of the school, and they are continuously modified accordingly. Highly qualified and experienced heads of departments together with the school’s curriculum coordinator monitor the implementation of each program in each department.

DMES founders envisioned the establishment of a locally and internationally-recognised institution, which evolved into a guiding statement for the school at present: “Empowering learners to contribute to the global community through innovation, exploration, and citizenship.”

What distinguishes DMES from other schools across Dubai is that it houses two schools – US School and MOE School, which offer US California State Curriculum (Kindergarten to Grade 12) and UAE Ministry of Education Curriculum (Grades 1 to 12), respectively.
