The city is rolling out a packed programme across the city

Dubai is turning Eid Al Adha 2026 into one giant family-friendly weekend, and you’re invited.

There will be dedicated family-only beaches, free ice cream giveaways, live music, and plenty of activities designed to keep everyone entertained across the city.

This year, several of Dubai’s most popular beaches will become exclusive family zones throughout the Eid break, creating a more relaxed and comfortable atmosphere for parents and children looking to spend the long weekend by the water.

That includes Jumeirah 1, Jumeirah 2 and its night beach, Jumeirah 3, Umm Suqeim 1 and its night beach, Umm Suqeim 2, along with the newly opened Khor Al Mamzar Beach.

So if you fancy an early morning swim, a sunset stroll, or evening beach time under the lights, the city is leaning heavily into laid-back family vibes this Eid.

But the celebrations do not stop at the beach. Dubai Municipality is also bringing back its popular ‘Eid Gifts’ initiative, meaning free ice cream will be handed out across several public parks during the first two days of Eid.

Visitors heading to Al Barsha Pond Park, Zabeel Park, Creek Park, Al Safa Park, Mushrif Park, and selected community parks can grab complimentary treats between 4pm and 7pm; a simple but fun addition that is guaranteed to be a hit with children.

Around the city, there will also be live entertainment and performances creating a proper festive atmosphere.

Dubai Frame is hosting live music performances during Eid afternoons, while Hatta Market will feature traditional Al Harbiya performances celebrating Emirati heritage.

Families with younger children can also head to Children’s City, which is running a packed programme of theatrical shows, workshops, character appearances, and interactive activities across the first three days of Eid.

At the same time, Dubai Municipality says it is ramping up inspections and operational checks across the emirate to keep the celebrations running smoothly.

Teams are monitoring food outlets, beaches, entertainment spaces, salons, shopping centres, and public facilities to ensure hygiene, safety, and food quality standards remain high throughout the holiday period.

It’s all set up to be a bumper weekend of fun entertainment in Dubai.

From beach days and park picnics to live entertainment and free sweet treats, the city is clearly leaning into easy, family-focused celebrations this Eid Al Adha.

And let’s face it, the free ice cream alone is enough to reel you in.
