Dubai Culture’s flagship initiative, Sikka Art & Design Festival, is making an impressive return this year, celebrating 12 years of remarkable creativity.

Running from 23 February to 3 March, artists from the UAE and all over the GCC will come together to decorate Al Shindagha Historic District with works that speak to the future and orchestrate a visionary experience.

Wander down the paved alleys of the city’s most storied district, where the Sikka Art & Design Festival will come alive through exhibitions, installations, poetry nights, musical performances, workshops and thought-provoking films.

What is Sikka Art & Design Festival?

 

Sikka Art Festival

Held under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and a member of the Dubai Council, Sikka Art & Design Festival is a celebration of art which focuses on supporting and showcasing the works of Emirati, UAE & GCC-based artists.

 

What can visitors experience at Sikka Art & Design Festival?

Visitors to the free nine-day festival can browse creative installations and photography by over 500 artists, watch more than 70 musicians live, attend film screenings or take part in workshops.
