The show has won multiple major awards, earned a multi-platinum, Grammy-winning Broadway cast recording, and inspired a blockbuster movie adaptation (starring Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo) that’s already grossed over $750 million globally.

Now, it’s Dubai’s turn to join the Emerald City magic.

The untold story of the witches of Oz

WICKED reveals the untold tale of how two young women, one popular and glittering, the other misunderstood and green, become Glinda the Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.

Their friendship, rivalry, and powerful journey will sweep you off your feet with show-stopping hits like ‘Defying Gravity,’ ‘Popular,’ and ‘For Good.’

Expect over 100 performers, crew and orchestra members, 350+ costumes, and a visual feast that’s pure Broadway spectacle.

A landmark moment for theatre in the Middle East

Brought to Dubai by Broadway Entertainment Group as part of its 15th anniversary celebrations, WICKED marks the company’s most ambitious production in the region to date; a five-year journey from conception to curtain call.

Dubai Opera’s Head Paolo Petrocelli calls it “a defining moment for contemporary theatre in the UAE,” while WICKED composer Stephen Schwartz says this new production brings “its own vitality and creativity, while continuing to tell our story of friendship, love, and having the courage to be true to yourself.”
