The Broadway classic Annie is coming to Dubai this December in a spectacular new adaptation, featuring timeless songs, laughter, and heart

 

“The sun will come out tomorrow” — and this winter, it will shine bright in Dubai as the world’s most beloved redhead, Annie, takes centre stage.

The Broadway classic Annie The Musical is coming to Zabeel Theatre, Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, in a stunning new production by Olivier Award-winning producer Paul Taylor-Mills.

Running from 12 to 14 December, this new adaptation brings Broadway magic to Dubai for the holiday season.


What is Annie about?

Set in 1930s New York during the Great Depression, Annie follows a plucky young orphan who refuses to let life at Miss Hannigan’s bleak orphanage crush her spirit.

When Annie is chosen to spend a fairytale Christmas with billionaire Oliver Warbucks, her dream of finding a family seems within reach. But Miss Hannigan has other plans, leading to mischief, mayhem and plenty of heart before Annie’s optimism wins the day.

Timeless songs, timeless story

Audiences will be treated to the award-winning music and lyrics that made Annie a Broadway classic, with songs including It’s the Hard-Knock Life, Easy Street, I Don’t Need Anything But You, and everyone’s favourite, Tomorrow.

The show is suitable for families, with children aged two and above welcome. Guests under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
