A three-day programme of free and discounted experiences
Expo City Dubai is marking International Museum Day with a three-day programme that blends culture, storytelling, and hands-on experiences across the site from 16 to 18 May 2026.
The focus this year is on accessibility and connection, with free and discounted entry giving visitors an easy way to explore some of the city’s key cultural spaces.
Vision Dubai forms the centre of this exciting experience at Expo City Dubai, which tells the story of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Dubai’s transformation into a global city.
Visitors move through a multi-sensory journey that starts in the desert, explores traditional Bedouin values, and continues into key moments from leadership, heritage, and personal milestones that shaped the city’s development.
This is an easy walk-through experience rather than a formal exhibition, with visuals, sound, and storytelling used to bring different chapters of the UAE’s history to life in a more engaging way.
A city experience
Alongside Vision Dubai, the Expo 2020 Dubai Museum is also reopening with free entry for the weekend.
The museum revisits one of the UAE’s landmark global events, highlighting collaboration, innovation, and the international spirit that defined the Expo.
