Have you seen the new record-breaking installation at Global Village?

Global Village Illuminated Light

A Guinness World Records breaking sculpture has just landed at Global Village. Here’s all you need to know

If hosting seven different New Year’s Eve fireworks wasn’t enough, Global Village is now hosting a record-breaking sculpture.

Guinness World Records has confirmed  that the UAE’s iconic family favourite spot is now home to the world’s Largest Illuminated Steel Sculpture of a Bird.

With its wings spread wide, the steel falcon, a tribute to the UAE’s national bird, stands at just under 8-metres tall with a wingspan of over 22-metres, weighing over 8,000kg. And once the sun goes down, you can spot the falcon from miles away thanks to the 50,000 lights it’s covered with.

Talk about a fantastic Instagrammable spot.

Built in commemoration of its significance to UAE’s culture and identity, the falcon structure can only be seen at Global Village.

When you’re done ogling at the beauty of the striking falcon, you can also explore the newly launched Mini World, where 25 miniature replicas of world-famous landmarks and international cuisines await.

In addition to some exciting new performances being added every week, check out the entire brilliant line-up in store for you at Global Village Dubai. And you can always skip the parking trouble with the new bus line straight to the destination!
