You can now join this fun DXB Snow Run in Dubai – and it’s seriously cool

DXB Snow Run 2025 at ski dubai

You will have to brace sub-zero temperatures

The coolest run in the UAE is back this May.

The DXB Snow Run returns for its seventh edition at Ski Dubai, bringing a one-of-a-kind fitness challenge where runners swap sunshine for sub-zero conditions.

Set at -4°C, this isn’t your usual weekend jog; it’s a full-on community experience inside a snowy landscape in the middle of the desert.

Taking place in collaboration with the Dubai Sports Council, the event invites participants aged 13 to 70 to lace up and take on either a 3km or 5km course.

The twist is that each kilometre comes with icy loops, frozen air, and a seriously cool atmosphere that makes this one of Dubai’s most unique fitness events.

You can go solo if you’re feeling bold, or team up with friends for a group challenge. Teams of five will be racing not just the clock, but also other squads on the slopes.

So expect plenty of friendly competition (and probably a few snow-filled selfies along the way).

And if running isn’t your thing, you can still be part of the action. Spectators are more than welcome to cheer from a dedicated viewing area inside the snowy setting.

There’s even a complimentary hot drink to warm you up while you watch the action unfold. Spectator passes are AED 50 and available on-ground during the event, perfect for those who prefer frosty vibes without the finish line sweat.

Beyond the fun, the Snow Run is designed to promote inclusion, wellbeing, and community spirit as part of the UAE’s Year of Family. It’s a reminder that fitness doesn’t have to be serious; it can be playful, social, and a little bit frosty too.

So whether you’re chasing a personal best or just in it for the novelty of running in a snow globe, this is your chance to say you’ve literally sprinted through a winter wonderland in Dubai.

Just don’t forget, this is one run where you’ll probably want to warm up and cool down at the same time.

Here’s how the categories break down:

Individual 3km (3 loops): AED 120

Individual 5km (5 loops): AED 150

Team of 5: AED 110 per person
